About Gabriel Calderon

While studying at Osgoode Hall Law School, Gabriel was actively involved with the legal clinic system, working at Parkdale Community Legal Services in the housing rights division. While there he developed a passion for getting to know his clients, listening to their legal problems, and finding solutions to them.

At Osgoode Hall he also developed an interest in business law and intellectual property, interests which he put to use when he articled in the in-house legal department of an Mississauga-based international chemical corporation and later on as a staff lawyer at a leading Bay Street business firm. He developed a wide expertise in areas such as corporate law and governance, securities, and privacy, while also giving clients insight into the business and regulatory landscape. Gabriel decided to strike out on his own in order to fulfill his dream of opening his own law firm.

Gabriel is also frequently involved with the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association and with other Latino communities around the GTA. Part of Gabriel’s goal in starting Calrod Law is to give the rapidly growing Latino communities in the GTA a trusted legal advisor they can rely on. De esa forma, Gabriel ofrece servicios en Español.
